COURSE OBJECTIVES
Business English correspondence is the communication or exchange of information in a written format for the process of business activities. Business correspondence can take place between organizations, within organizations or between the customers and the organization. The correspondence is generally of widely accepted formats that are followed universally.
There are two primary course objectives:
1. To get the skills of writing business letters or emails. We will focus on:
Identifying and Arranging the Parts of a Business Letter
Identifying and Using the Layout of Business Letters
General Principles of Business Letter Writing
2. To practice writing all kinds of business letters which are as follows.
Letters of establishing business relations
Letters of inquiry, offer counter-offer, acceptance
Letters of placing, accepting or declining an order
Letters of negotiating terms of payment
Letters of applying to open a L/C
Letters of arranging shipment
Letters of arranging insurance
Letters of complaints/claim
